One of the greatest joys of joining a community like deviantART is the opportunity to inspire and be inspired. By posting our work, we open ourselves up to words of encouragement and constructive criticism, which both play a significant role in shaping us to develop as artists. Sadly, many aspiring deviants are underexposed - some don't receive the encouragement they deserve, and others don't hear the advice they need to make quality work even better. Returning Once Again
Wow, can you believe that it's been nearly nine months since I've written in this thing?! I've been somewhat inactive here on dA over the past year. I'm not really sure exactly why; I guess it's just been one of those off seasons in my personal life. Things have been going a bit slowly these days, which has been nice. :) Honestly, my first two years of college were filled with an extreme lack of focus, and I ended up getting...for lack of a better word...burned out.
But one thing still remains the same - dA is always my happy place. :D It's great to be back again, and I hope I can actually be here consistently this time

It's been quite a crazy week! Yesterday was one of the most anticipated days ever for this year - the day I applied for my driver's license. :w00t: I couldn't believe this when I first heard it, but they've got this crazy system here in Texas where you have to wait six months after getting a permit to apply for a license (and NOT take the driving test) if you're under 18, but if you're over 18 like me, you have to take the driving test with an inspector - parallel parking and all! Needless to say, the hours beforehand were pretty nervewracking. But by the time the test rolled around, everything fell into place. We ended up driving
