This is a beautiful shot with some very gorgeous colors, but honestly, it pales in comparison when lined against many of the other photos in your gallery (especially the closeups). The two main problems are lighting and focus. On one hand, the sunlight gives this picture an appropriate vibrant feel, but on another hand, it's a bit harsh in places and creates shadows in others. Shooting this photo on a bright partly cloudy day or a late afternoon can really help with this, even in subtle ways (and you can still get a nice blue background or perhaps even golden sunlight!). The other issue is focus; some of the larger petals are a tad blurry, possibly as a result of wind or camera shake. But all in all, this is still a very beautiful, colorful capture. The combination of red and green against blue looks superb, as well as the "leading line" of the stem running diagonally. Awesome work!
