Hey everyone,

A few hours ago, I uploaded an earlier picture with the exact same setup among the dominoes. Thanks to ~obbycomma for suggesting a revision - it needed something more, and neither one of us could figure out exactly what. I took a look at the earlier version a second time and found the problem - the lighting. It was way too static, with the spotlight on the blank domino giving the other dominoes the same amount of light as they remained in the shadows. So I decided to go back and experiment with different lighting setups. Finally, I managed to find just the right mysterious look with one light shining on the blank domino and another coming in from the side, casting light and shadows amongst the colored dominoes. I hope this adds a bit more depth to the photo. :) I'm still feeling a bit uncertain about it, but if enough people like it, I'll keep it. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

The change is totally subtle. in fact if you hadn't commented on your picture I might not have seen it! anyway i'd have to comment again because the concept is so cool and the lighting of course is fantastic...this is a great shot :D

AMAZING concept! I like how the blank domino has nothing of what is needed, against the other dominos that do have spots. It makes it stand out more and sort of represents purity and innocence.

...am I reading to much into this?

Either way, this piece is great!
